Acts as a representative between the Agency and referral sources, promoting effective communication and program adaptation to meet the needs of the community. Facilitates communications between the Agency and physicians. Educates referral sources and the community about the Agency and its services. Functions as an Agency representative for community events, health fairs and recruitment activities.
Essential Functions:
1. Use superior customer service and sales knowledge to attract and maintain business relationships in the health care industry.
2. Consults with area physicians to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses, provides feedback to Agency staff on methods to better coordinate patient care services, assists in resolving physician and/or community issues, in conjunction with agency staff members.
3. Coordinates and participates in community events, i.e. recruitment functions, career days, etc. when needed.
4. Participates in the designing of promotional materials.
5. Promotes and follows company policies and procedures.
6. Maintains monthly budget for service areas.
7. Works to achieve company census and revenue objectives.
8. Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources to promote THM continuum of care services.
9. Responsible for growth by obtaining new admissions and meeting goals through building and developing external business relationships.
10. Responsible for designated sales territory and meets designated sales goals.
11. Ensures protection of confidential information that is stored, handled or maintained by following Company policies and processes related to confidentiality and/or HIPAA regulations.
12. Delivers and retrieves MD orders and plans of care, requiring signatures when needed.
13. Other duties as assigned.
1. Education
Associate degree in business or health related field preferred, Bachelors Degree preferred.
2. Experience
Two (2) year experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in healthcare.
Proven ability to successfully market the services of the organization.
3. Special Skills
Verbal and written communications including the ability to work closely with a wide variety of people while using problem solving skills.
Must have ability to prioritize and work independently to meet defined goals.
Displays ease working with others, contributes ideas and skills to team.
Accepts responsibility for own decisions, actions and results.
Able to maintain dependable behavior in time of crisis or complexity.
4. Licensure, Registration, Certification
Current State Drivers License
Current Auto Liability Insurance according to Company policy

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
