Custodial Building Supervisor I, Custodial Services, Sun-Thur 11:00pm-7:00am

Custodial Services at the University of Tennessee at Martin is currently accepting internal applications for the position of Custodial Building Supervisor
Job Duties include:
Works under the supervision of the Custodial Supervisor IV.
Performs cleaning, stocking, and ordering supplies for a specific building or group of buildings.
Responsible for oversight of custodial care of a specific building or a group of buildings.
Train custodial workers as needed on such tasks as: general cleaning; stripping and waxing floors; spray buffing; and extracting carpet.
Inspect daily work performance for assigned personnel to ensure proper level and quality of cleaning.
Identify training needs and advise Custodial Supervisor IV.
Orient newly hired custodial workers to the assigned work place.
Coordinate work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance and care of buildings- classrooms, restrooms, offices, and other spaces as required.
Prepares University areas for special event set-ups.
Evaluates performance of custodial personnel; prepares and submits incident reports.
Serve as liaison between Physical Plant and Building Managers by turning in work orders and ensure completion. Work with faculty and staff in other departments to make sure custodial needs are met
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School degree and two years or more of custodial and supervision experience
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively; able to interact positively with co-workers.
Physical condition conducive to performance of labor tasks (this includes bending, reaching overhead, lifting as much as 50 pounds, stooping, climbing ladders to height of twenty feet, operating power washer, buffers, vacuums, shampoo machines and scrubbers).
Must have good work and attendance record.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
