Safety Manager

Hamilton-Ryker in Martin searching for an experienced Safety Manager.




  • Lead the Human Safety effort through implementing, creating and driving processes and programs to meet operational needs and maintain and manage compliance to world class safety standards.


  • Educate and Coach the membership on safety in ways that make it part of the day-to-day thinking to get to ZERO Injuries/Illnesses.


  • Lead efforts to create a safety culture that leverages member ownership, involvement, and personal accountability.


  • Take part in the Company Safety Leadership team and facilitate the sharing of ideas between facilities as it relates to protecting our members, assets and brand.


  • Lead the facility Safety Committee, Process Safety Management Team and other teams to drive compliance to safety programs.


  • Facilitate company's compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, guidelines and best practices.


  • Facilitate the development and attainment of all safety metric goals.


  • Create the "Safest" Company in the World through innovation, ownership, involvement and drive.


  • Conduct safety compliance evaluations for facility specific requirements.


  • Manage Workers Compensation Claims and Property Insurance recommendations.


  • Actively participate in continuous learning to grow knowledge and skills through classes, webcasts/seminars, OSHA compliance trainings.





  • Ability to teach and coach others

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
